What is it?

iFetch Too is the second version of the company’s range of ball launchers.  The first version, iFetch Original, works best with small to medium sized dogs and can be used around the house. The new version can, meanwhile, launch regular sized tennis balls up to 12 meters away, making it the best choice for outdoor play.

This toy mimics playing fetch without you having to throw the ball every time. You only have to put the ball in the tube to make it throw the ball from the frontal launch area for your pup to run after. Train your dog to bring the ball back to the iFetch launcher to repeat the entire process. Just like playing fetch!

And the best part? You can read a book, sunbathe, or even talk to your friends in the park while your dog plays around with the toy.

Features

Designed for bigger dogs, iFetch Too launches regular sized tennis balls 10, 25 or 40 meters away. When fully charged, it can last up to 300 throws, ensuring no interruptions to a fun time. You can then train your pet to drop the ball into the machine, giving you more time to relax. The iFetch Original, on the other hand, can only throw balls up to 30 feet away.

It also comes with 3 2.6” Tuff balls that are specifically made for canines. They’re felted like real tennis balls but are non-abrasive for their teeth.

It comes with an AC adapter for 110 and 220 volts to keep its rechargeable battery full every time. And you won’t have to worry about wasting power either. This new model shuts off when no ball is dropped into the chute.

Design

This new model has a sleek white and blue design, similar to the iFetch Original and Frenzy but is slightly bigger than its predecessors. It stands at 12.4” compared the Original’s 7.7” which is perfect to use for outdoor play.

Value

With its bigger size and energy-efficient design, it’s no wonder iFetch Too retails for $399.95. It does take more materials to create this version, accounting for the $200 difference. Its new “ruggedized threads” which allows the motor to grip balls tightly despite it being slobbered over, might have increased the cost, as well.

Performance

Other reviews for this dog toy have been positive. The ball-throwing distances it advertised were indeed accurate. It’s also very easy to use. You only have to push the power button to indicate the distance and lock it in place. Drop the ball into the funnel, and you’re good to go!
